Our Optometric Physician, Dr. Jasdeep Sidhu, specializes in understanding how the human eye really works, as well as diseases and conditions that affect your vision—many of which do not always have obvious symptoms.
Optometric Physicians know how age and risk factors affect vision over time for young and old, and they understand the benefits and features of corrective lenses, both as eyeglass lenses and contact lenses.
At Vision Plus Stanwood, Dr. Jasdeep Sidhu takes the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing and treating potential vision problems.
Dr. Sidhu grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia. She attended Simon Fraser University as an undergraduate, completing a Bachelors of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology. She completed her graduate studies at New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA.
After graduation, Dr Sidhu joined Nationwide Laser and Medical Eye Centers and practiced in Arizona till 2013. For the past several years, she has been practicing as an independent optometrist in Eastern Washington. She is an avid hiker and enjoys traveling, yoga, snowboarding and cooking in her free time.
